I liked it! Remember this is a re-release. The cover did confuse me.Hale is an interesting character by himself BUT McKinely. WOW! Now him I found interesting - and was looking forward to reading his book. It was sweet the way Paige had a name that only she called him.
Circs - they are basically the same as a lot of books out there, but different too. They have had their basic DNA changed. They turn into well - Circs. Tougher, less intelligent, stronger versions of themselves.
Sex - A lot, and well written. But be aware it is not just M/F. It's M/M, M/M/F and M/F.
Plot - There was one. Actually the plot builds throughout all the Circ books. This is too short to have that much of a plot and all the sex.
Re-readable - YES! I actually like McKinely the best. Paige is a close second and then Hale. But it was enjoyable.

Hale finally meets up with Paige and McKinley, his two mates. This book had a lot of action, suspense, drama, closure and of course Hot, Sexy times. I've truly enjoyed the entire series and hope it continues. If you love ex-military heroes who are "more" than they were before, you will love this series! Highly Rexommended!
This was a amazing action filled romance with adventure and amazing characters. If you love a great story with amazing characters and a storyline that rocks this story is for you grab your copy today.
I LOVE CIRCE'S!! There are so many books on the scene with this same premise. Ex-military soldiers who were experimented on my scientists who are just trying to make a life for themselves. Blah, blah, blah. Well, you won't be disappointed with this series!! The circe's are the HOTTEST and most badass of them all. This is by far one of my favorite series, along with New Species. So if you enjoy New Species, you will ADORE this series. Miss Harte is a little lesser known and she deserves some credit and way more followers! The editing and writing in her books are impeccable (this is a huge deal to me), the plot is SOLID, and the execution is perfect. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a hot read.
5 stars for the fourth book in the Circe's Recruits book - Hale. Hale is the second in command of the squad and the only one not mated. Therefore when the team is searching for Doc's niece - Paige you almost instantly know who Hale will mate. The only issue is that Hale is a bit of a prophet with some of his visions and Paige is not his only partner/mate.
Hale is up in arms since he is most certainly attracted to Paige but he is also intensely attracted to the person in his visions and can't quite pinpoint what his future holds. Paige is also attracted to Hale but she can't help but feel love for McKinley too since she has known and loved him since she was a kid.
Robbie McKinley is a full blooded Circ and was believed to be working with the PPA. That has not been the case at all since Robbie is actually the Circ that helped them while inside Pearson labs. He feels almost responsible for all the PPA has done since his blood was used to create the weapons program they created with it. Where Robbie also holds an intense affection for Paige he feels he will hurt her because he is too rough but that rule doesn't apply to Hale.
These three together burn up the sheets and create an intense bond. All questions are pretty much answered and Pearson Labs is destroyed but there is always room for more in this intense and highly erotic series )
Fun story and I loved the interaction between the men.
I like this series.
